Life is so very fragile. We are all vulnerable. And we will all at some point in our lives fall. We will all fall.

Day 14: Cable problems
Yeah…. Comcast sucks.
I’ll edit this post later with more details, I’m supposed to meet some people for lunch at 1:00 and it’s 12:24, hehe, oops.
I’ll also tell you about Narwhal and Tarsier moving in, and how Platypus and I do absolutely NOTHING but fight. Fun fun.
Axolotl gets here today, thank goodness.
Oh! And I fixed my schedule, so you’ll get to read about that. Hooray.
Talk to you later :)
Day 5: Brother-sister relationship
If I were you I’d either read the whole thing or skip to the end- the end is the good part.
I had a huge epiphany today when Shaina pointed something out to me, when I went to her apartment again to help her get situated and clean up a bit. The epiphany being that Platypus and I are just like brother and sister. We fight most of the time, usually semi-playfully and about things that aren’t important, but other times we bond. Today was a perfect example of that.
This morning, I cleaned a bit while he watched Arrested Development and ate breakfast, talking to each other pretty much the entire time. After I showered, I realized we missed the showing of 30 Minutes or Less we were planning on attending, so instead I worked and watched Arrested Development with him. Then I drove him to the rock gym later while on my way to Shaina’s, and we argued about using the closet in the front of our house as a coat closet and why it’s not necessary to fight for the bigger closet while moving in to a new house.
Day 4: Pissed at Platypus day.
Let me tell you, I’m so excited that this day was the day Shaina arrived, cause if I had had to sit in this house all day with Platypus and his friend(s) I might have killed him.
First off, I was working in my room, and the doorbell rang. I finished typing my sentence, and went to answer the door. Now, I live on the complete opposite side of the house than the front door. Platypus, however, is right next to it. By the time I get to the door, which is my opinion really didn’t take that long, the Fed Ex man who was waiting had already knocked once and rang the bell twice.
So I sign for my package, and go back in my room. Then he comes in asking me why I didn’t answer the door. Uhm, hello, you live here, too. But wait - there’s more!
Day 3: Barstools
…the most exciting part of my day. I wish I was kidding.
I’ve been looking for bar stools to put in our kitchen, and my mom called me to let me know Walmart had some for $10. This was on Sunday. It’s Tuesday now, keep in mind.
Day 2: Well, this house is boring.
Platypus just sits in his room watching cartoons, and he played the accordion once. I drove him to the gym but he forgot it was closed, so he went to Walmart with me, and I felt bad cause he didn’t seem like he wanted to be there, and so then I felt rushed and didn’t get everything I went there for.
I also got in to Pottermore, so I spent like five hours doing that, and skyping our friend Shaina who gets here Wednesday and I’m so excited!
Maybe Platypus and I will go see a movie tomorrow, we did talk about doing so…
Day 1: First night in the new house!
Time for code names for the guys. I don’t want to reveal their real names, so I’m going to use animal names for fun :) They are Platypus, Axolotl, Tarsier, and Narwhal.
That being said and clarified, Platypus and I are the only ones here so far. Axolotl won’t be here for a while, probably two days before school starts once his summer job has ended, and Tarsier and Narwhal have no idea when they’re coming, as far as I know.
Now, Platypus and I get along great sometimes. We used to be best best friends, and something weird happened and I don’t really even know what triggered it, but we hit a rough patch for months. Luckily, things seem to be back to normal.
I’m a dork, just so you all know.
